Water

Is there any way to change the color of the water in LL, as show in the screenshots? Thanks
I think the green water you saw comes with one of the new themes. Maybe with the castles for a moat.

The green "goo" is in the spooky themeing (new one). But I do recall seeing screenshots where the water was different colors too. Hmmm....

Name of Ride: Roller Coaster
Yeah, I know its a roller coaster, whats the real name?
It wasn't the green goo, that's the halloween acid theme. I was refering to the red water with the red fountain in it and the red water log flume like on the back of the box.
I see that too Raptor...
I'll look 'till I find it

Green water? Yippee! that means we can have authentic Cedar Point lagoons!
Hey Maniac, in the alien/volcano/whichever level you just found, is anything colored "water blue" changed to "lava red"? i.e. ride colors, scenery, or anything similar to the color of regular water. Just intrested.
well if I understand what you're asking, the only thing that's changed is the water. But everything that uses water has red instead of blue, there is no choice unfortunately. I'ts nice though with red rivers, fountains, jumping fountains, the works.
However, there appears to be 1 new color for rides/ attractions. It's a shade of red, the exact shade the water is. I know it's a new shade, and probably only for this scenario, because it's completely out of place in the color bar. It's like in with the blues and greens.

That's pretty much what I was saying. I was wondering that if every shade of that blue (for example water) was changed to the new shade of red (lava). That could mean the color could be changed by the player. I'll tell you if I find anything.
That might mean that he just changed the palette (is RCT 256 color?) If so, a well-designed trainer could change any one of the colors on the screen to another color, but the change may not be saved to the savegame.

Exactly.
I think a trainer might not be necessary to change the colors if you know where to look.
What do you mean by "know where to look"?

I'm not too good with computer stuff anymore, but many games can be changed by finding a word (I don't know the technical term) in one of the game's files. For example, if each scenario has certain parameters written in the file saying water is (insert color here), it could be possible to change it to another color. Just an idea I'm looking into.
Hmmm, I think there would probably be a flag in the scenario file marking if a scenario has changed water colors, and if it does, it changes it. I don't think you could change just any palette colors from the scenario file, but you never know.

That was what I was thinking too, but no luck as of yet. I haven't been able to find anything readable(lots of codes in there) to help me out.
