Was Windjammer a real good ride ?

Was it a ride you would be willing to wait an hour for ?  or was it one of those smaller looping, air time providing rides, that you would only ride if you were passing by it ?
For example Shockwave at SFOT,it is a fun ride with Air time and it is a genrally 5 min. wait for the front seat. Nothing real major to me but it is fun, But i would only ride it when I am passing by it. is that the kind of ride Wind jammer was ?

The first drop and loop was really cool, the drop actually providing a slight bit of airtime. After that, it really did nothing but hurt it's shorter guests and bore it's taller guests :) To compare Windjammer with Shockwave at SFOT would be a crime. I would not wait more than 5 minutes for windjammer, but no worries: the line was never that long anyway.
An hour of waiting for that thing? No thank you. I wouldn't wait longer than 20 minutes -- tops.

TRUE!  After riding about 300 different coasters, Windjammer was the first one I would NEVER ride again.  I'd always ride Outer Limits with OTSRs at least once a year among other brutal rides, but I would never ride that worthless piece of garbage even if there was no wait at all.  Now, I love coasters in all shapes and sizes, and always have fun on everything from smallest to biggest, but that one I couldn't even have fun on.  There were just so many things wrong with it, and the pain was so excessive I wanted off halfway through my first ride.
Now, I have really enjoyed some Togo rides (Fujiyama), but they really must have not done good work engineering it at all.  Rollbacks in less than 5 mph winds are simply NOT acceptable!

In response to the original question: "Was Windjammer a real good ride?"

I'll be surprised if anyone even says it was a sort of good ride.  It was worse than a bad ride in MANY people's books!

Let's see.
It was only open for 4? years before it was torn down. Makes ya wonder ;)

My fellow Americans, let's roll!
I pray that I will never see a Six Flags Conneaut Lake
I went on it when it first opened and I had a lot of fun on it. But when I went a couple of year later and road it, it was hell on wheels. I was like never again.

It was hardly every open, never had a line, reviled and ridiculed by most enthusiasts, and was torn out violently by the park because there was no buyer.  Not to mention on the media day enthusiasts rode once and just stood around while the park looked for people to ride for the cameras.

What do YOU think??

I actually rode it more than once! I don't know why? It became more painful the more I rode it. The Earjammer was wore than an SLC. (Or least the one I've been on.)
It wasn't bad, and the turnaround the water thing was cool, but REALLY rough, and was too short, and the Yellow never worked probably over 15 times. The theaming around was cool tho, they should of kept the station, cause it was pretty big
Windslammer? Good? Ha!
