Yes, there was a Busch Park in CA.  It never had any roller coasters, but it did have some rides.  I think a picture of their log flume was in the book recently published about Arrow.

They should buy Bonfante Gardens.

They had a Busch Gadens in Van Nuys (a saburb of L.A). I think there was an aviary there. They have a Sea World in San Diego.
Coulda sworn busch owned seaworld(san diego).
Technically, there is a Busch park in CA.  It's Sea World in San Diego.  It's probably not what you had in mind, but it is Busch owned.

I'm not good with freeways. But I think it was where the Budwiser factory is now on the 405 going towards Granada Hills or SFMM.Its in the Sherwan Way Reseda area. Its a shame I'm not sure since I passed by it for seven years while I was in school. LOL!

is there a chance of BG trying to get back in the market over there

Yes, there used to be a Busch Gardens in the L.A. area. They had an aviary and from what I remember they had one coaster. Other than that...it was sort of a boring place.
HEYYY!! I know where the Budweiser plant is, They had like this empty space of land for a while nearby. I haven't been there for a few months so i don't know where exactly it is. I live about 15 minutes from Van Nuys.

Their was a Busch Gardens on Roscoe Blvd. in Van Nuys. They had an giant Arrow Flume, a monorail, an Aviary, and an Old St. Louis section with bumper cars and a fun house. Some shows were present, along with a Budweiser Hospitality Center. It was a passive park, like the Tampa facility, which was classified as a zoo until the early 80's. Just too passive for revenue, so the company closed it when Busch Gardens Willaimsburg opened. I am going out on a limb here, but some of the rides from California made it to Virginia and Florida.
I think that Bonafonte Gardens would be a great fit for Busch. The California market and possibly a comparitively low entry price might entice them. You figure if they wanted to start a park there ever again it would cost a whole lot more than the 30-40 million in bonds that Bonafonte needs picked up. Also I have heard that they are considering adding some thrill rides to SWSD if they can get city approval. I wouldn't be shocked to see a B&M flyer there if they get approval in the next couple of years.
