was drachen fire a fun ride

i wan't to know if drachen fire was a fun ride
I know a lot of people bash drachen fire, but when i rode it a few years ago I thought it was a fun ride. The first drop is pretty unique, the layout itself is pretty unique, and I never felt too big of a problem with roughness. So yes, i would say it was a fun ride, in fact it was my second favorite at the park (this was before Apollo's Chariot though)

Yes, yes it was. It was rough, but not painful, like any Arrow looper. The first drop is still one of my all-time favs.

It is by far my favorite Arrow looper, I had no problem with the roughness, didn't hit my head once. I could ride it all day, that ride was wonderful.

I rode DF before I had the chance to experience the smoothness of a B&M, so I really can't say whether or not I thought it was rough. I do remember riding it on a rainy day about a dozen or so times in a row, and that was before one of the inversions was removed, so it couldn't have been all that painful!

The coaster had quite an interesting layout, much different from that of the GASM at SFGAdv... the corkscrew-type inversion right off the chain lift was particularly interesting.

There are quite a few other Arrow-designed multi-element coasters that should have been closed down before this one...
I personally never got to ride it, but I know a lot of people who did. They said that it was rough on the head, but they would ride it over and over.....so therefore it must have been a fun ride regardless of the headbanging.
I rode it the year Alpenqiest was open, I didn't think it was that rough. If you have been on any Arrow looper you knew what to expect, it just seemed slow to me, like they put the brakes on to make it smoother and it had the opposite effect.
My wife and I got to ride it the summer it opened. It was a great ride we didn't experience the ride being rough or uncomfortable. We rode it a year later and thought it was just as great at that time. The elements at the time were new and extreme many not even seen or heard of before this coaster. It still remains one of our top favorite coasters of all time.
What inversion was removed?

Favorite car B&MW
The 2nd corkscrew, because some guy supposedly got injured on it due to strong laterals.

One of the best Arrows in existence. RIP.
