Warner Bros. building theme park and movie theaters in UAE

Warner Bros. Entertainment will develop a theme park and hotel in Abu Dhabi as well as co-finance films and video games as part of a multibillion-dollar alliance. The deal with real estate developer Aldar and the newly formed Abu Dhabi Media Co. also involves jointly owned movie theaters in the United Arab Emirates and a separate deal to produce Arabic-language movies. The $500 million (euro354 million) film fund will produce broad appeal films, with Warner Bros. retaining worldwide distribution rights.

That area is just exploding with theme parks and tourism. It's a good thing they found another means of getting money since the oil is running out.

The UAE seems like the new Southeast Asia as far as the amusement industry goes.

Yeah, I think this is great that the UAE is getting a theme park, I saw on Discovery the other day that they just built a giant indoor ski resort.
I agree. The UAE is the place to be in the middle east. This park has good potential.
Is this near Dubai?
