Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, to pay employees during closure

From the official websites... Walt Disney World:
The Walt Disney Company will pay its Cast Members during the closure period.
From Universal Orlando:
Hourly team members will be paid for any work scheduled through the end of March.

The uproar over what happened with the college program appeared to come from the same people that get into a lather about everything Disney does and fail to realize that they are running a business.
I read over the weekend that British Revolution and the Japanese drummers were cut loose from Epcot after their Sunday performances. I had to laugh when one of the first comments was something along the lines of "welcome to the Chapek era." It still never ceases to amaze me that some people are dense enough to think that the CEO of a major media company is making decisions on the entertainment choices at one of their theme parks.
