If tourism is essential to Florida’s economy, then tourism workers are essential and deserve to be a priority for vaccination, said Eric Clinton, who leads Unite Here 362, which represents 9,000 workers at Walt Disney World.

Totally agree with this, and pile on with hotel, airport and transportation workers of all kinds. Granted, at the rate they're expanding access, I imagine it's only a matter of weeks at this point.

I think there is like 36,000 union employees at Disney so if they did this that would be a good chunk of Central Floridians. Hell, just make it all Disney employees and their families and that number jumps up to probably 100,000. If they did vaccinations on site it would relieve other sites in the area and probably be way more efficient. I am for it.

Yeah, convert an Epcot lot for vaccination of employees, since it's the largest single-site employer in the nation. Also include Universal, SeaWorld and small operators. Not sure how you staff it, but talk about economic opportunity. "Come to Orlando, where it's not Miami and your ride op and waitress is vaccinated."

I think Krispy Kreme should have been slightly more creative: after your first dose of a 2-dose vaccine, you can get *half* a doughnut free! Or maybe one for half price.
