Josh D’Amaro, who previously was the president of Walt Disney World Resort, was named chairman of parks, experiences and consumer products. He is taking the mantle from Bob Chapek, who was promoted to CEO of the company, in late February.

As a entry level grad new hire, I had the opportunity to present to and interact with Mr. Vahle (who was three or four management levels up at the time) a few times. Those interactions (even a decade later) of him as a leader were very positively memorable and impressionable. It is awesome to see him ascend to the top of the World.
