Walk back at King's Island

Since opening day is just a day away, does anyone know if they are doing morning walkbacks to Beast for ACE members? And if so what time?

Also is the work on SOB done?

Just full of questions aren't I.

I'm sure they will be doing the walkback on Saturday. The work on SOB is not complete from what I hear, but they have fixed it until they get something in.

So will SOB be running?

As I understand it, and somebody will correct me if I'm wrong, the walkback coaster is whatever one that is ready first. The day Belmont Babe and I did it the first ride ready happened to be SOB. It could have easily been The Beast, or any other coaster that had been signed off.

At media day yesterday, they sent a train around the course on SOB, so I will assume it will be running (but it was only one train...once)

Reason SOB probably didn't run much yesterday morning was because they didn't want it interfearing with the media interviews ect. The lifthill is pretty loud and interfeard a bunch in last years Travel Channel shoot for Drop Zone when they were testing it durring the filming.

As for the walkback, It always has been Beast first and they added another option in 2000 when SOB opened. Sometimes it's majority rule and sometimes it's a option of either. Last year it was TRTR and Beast but if one wasn't ready or both they would give other options. It wouldn't surprise me if Delerium is the other choice for this year.

GOLD PASS HOLDERS! Saturday the 12th ACTION ZONE open for Gold pass members from 9-10am. If you want to ride Delerium many times, HERES YOUR CHANCE.

Sunday is Early Ride Time for HB/Nick Central from 9-10am so you can get your Scooby rides.

Have fun! I will only be there tonight and will mention that we are having a FLYER TAKEOVER at 7pm!

It is my personal belief that Lesourdsville Lake is closed for 2003. I'll let you know if anything is announced.

Re: Gold Pass ERT tommorow, unless pki.com recently changed their website, while the Gold Pass ERT is in the Action Zone, Delirium was not specifcally mentioned when they listed the included rides. Oversight?

The website lists : Face/Off, Top Gun, Son of Beast, and Drop Zone as your choices.

Re: Son of Beast - If my nosy ear heard correctly, both SOB and Beast will operate this weekend. However SOB will run with the same equipment it finished with last year.

So as far as we know SoB will be running then Saturday the 19th (I know that is next weekend, but I can't be there this saturday because I work thid one...) And as far as the ACE walkback goes my uncle and I may or may not be at the park in time for this, but we are not Ace members yet so can we still take part? And, a little of subject here I guess, will anyone be there next Saturday (19) for and Flyer Fest with us? Im never there with other enthusiasts and this would be great for the both us, I love being a showboat on them ! Sorry for this long list of questions and other such but I am very intersted in this. Thanks for anyone replying to my questions.

So you believe that you are studying us, then kindly explain why you are the ones trapped in your seats.

When we used the walk back last year they gave us the choice of what we wanted and we decided on Tomb Raider which was what all of us who were there wanted to ride first. Kudos to PKI for a great perk too ACE members!!!
