You be on the short list of dudes on this board who dig Dave Matthews that I might be gay for. :)
Clearly there are no keyboards in heaven, or Moosh would've posted a flaming double entendre already. ;)

Lol. I agree with Gonch in the above post. I'd say that Billy is one of the most enthusiastic enthusiast I've ever known too. (...and Dave W.)
8.3's comment is refreshing to me too. I always wonder why some enthusiasts will pick a small park over a large park. There's more to do at the big parks, for me anyways. I guess we are all different, and I accept that.
Kennywood! Great choice. Small park feel, with the big park rides (and some old-timey small park rides too)!

small park = quality, fun, uniqueness
big park = quantity, visually impressive, sameness
I think a big part of it is that I grew up going to Great America, Kings Island and CP. So I've seen the biggest and most popular, so I tend to have fun at smaller unique places like Camden :)
One of my all time bestest friends (RIP Chris) grew up in PA; although he loved the parks there, he would do anything when it was time to go to Kings Island or Great America...

Hmm... I think I can live with that.
Don't get me wrong, I love small parks. I would personally just need a really good reason to go that far for one.

edit - Kennywood, we are going to Kennywood instead :)
If you're really feeling crazy you could hit Lakemont Park and DelGrosso's on your way up to Erie. :)
If you're feeling crazy...
I think you spelled "aroused" wrong.
Ehm... hm. No...
What an exciting diversi-... darn it...
Oh hell: the map looks like a penis.

When I was at Waldie last year, the crowds were on the lighter side. RFII had a bit of a line, but it moves right along. You must try one of their huge Chocolate Chip Cookies. Best I have ever tasted in my life. Bonus if they come out of the over fresh and hot! Enjoy the trip!
Sky's the limit.
CD - What day will you be at Kennywood? I'll be there tomorrow (Wednesday the 13th).

^Argh, missed ya! We did Kennywood yesterday (Tuesday, what a day we had!) and today we hit Waldameer for a bit, CP on the way home (don't tell anyone) and now back in Chicago. Bed time!
LOL... swing and miss I guess! We were at Kennywood on Wednesday the 13th and did Waldameer on Friday the 15th.

^How were they? Jack Rabbit and Racer always always always seem to have a line!
I can't wait to go to Waldameer - think I'll be going next month!
Wait I'm confused. Two messages up you said you "hit Waldameer for a bit" and then you just said "I can't wait to go to Waldameer". Did you mean another park?
Anyways, Kennywood was good. It had been about six years since we were there last. We rode Phantom several times (mostly to get a better on-ride photo, damn kids and their need to "pose"), got on Jack Rabbit twice, didn't do Racer at all (line was too long), and got one ride on the new Sky Rocket coaster (which I liked, kind of like a mini-Maverick of sorts). We also rode a lot of the dark rides we hadn't done the last time we were there.
Waldameer was good as always. I always try to go there when I make trips home. It was a beautiful day. Longest wait was for the Wacky Shack.
How were your trips?

^I started this thread, then we changed our minds and went to Kennywood and Idlewild :) So now, I can't wait to get to Waldameer and Conneaut - both of which I've never been to.
Sky Rocket was great and a real surprise! Like Maverick? Well, I didn't have to fight the ride to survive on Sky Rocket....
Everything was great at Kennywood, Thunderbolt had a quick moving short line most of the day; we probably did 15 rides on it! Can't wait to get back to Kennywood as well!
Idlewild too! That place is beautiful; all those tall trees, and the gem of a Rollo Coaster. All those white picket fences! And the summer camp like diner, loved it. Didn't care for the 40 minute wait to ride Wild Mouse, but the ride was fun and very unique.
I was baffled at all the younger teenagers smoking at Kennywood; lots of snuff chewers too. It's been a long time since I've seen 14-16 year olds smoking and chewing. It is what it is.
