Waldameer announced yesterday the installation of a new Maurer-Sohne spinning mouse for the 2004 season. It will be the main component of a $5 million improvement package for the park.

With Kennywood adding the Garfield's Nightmare dark ride, now I have two Pennsylvania parks to visit this summer (the other obviously being Waldemeer)! Now if only my nearest park (Six Flags Worlds of Adventure) will announce some kind of improvements for 2004 . . .
In regards to Waldemeer, is the environmental survey of Lake Erie's coast finished? Has Mr. Nelson been granted approval or is he "hoping" that the Ravine Flyer can be built by 2006? Can we do anything like write letters to show support or concince people that there is enough interest in this project?
Have a good weekend!
Sincerely,

P.S. I give a good deal of credit to the Erie reporter as he responded to my email request for imformation very promptly. Not every journalist you encounter is so responsible and kind.
