Update: The owner of Waldameer Park is apologizing to a blind Erie teenager after that man was barred from riding the park's new roller coaster.Park Owner Paul Nelson says he kept 19 year old Kelly McCammon from riding the Ravine Flyer II because he thought McCammon was a minor with a disability.Nelson says the park has regulations that limit its liability when it comes to children riding rides. He says parents of disabled children need to give their approval before their kids can ride. But Kelly McCammon is over 18 - legally an adult."I just made a mistake because I thought the boy was under 18," Nelson explained. "He was with two kids under 18. I apologize, Kelly, a mistake is a mistake, but it happened," he added.Nelson is offering McCammon and a guest a free trip to Waldameer. Our attempts to contact Kelly McCammon for comment on Saturday afternoon were unsuccessfull.

Hopefully this will be the end of it.
