Mega disk-o will be a great additon to their flats. A brightly lit (and highly visable) swing ride at the train turnaround sounds good too. I'll have to wait and till late March/early April for M.D-0 to show up and get some photos! I believe they can put it in without moving any pavillions as that area is open picnic tables. We shall see.

They've always had an option to at least add a new waterslide to the waterpark, it appears. You can see footers in place near one of the splashdown pools for it. Not major, but consider that it would equal what Sandcastle's added in the past 5 years (i.e. Blue Tubalooba).

It has to do with the track length and height, not the number of seats. Kennywood's Mega Disko seats 24. You can also get the Mega Disko with the skateboard-style vehicle. They all have the same base, though.

This is what the article said about were it is going: Nelson said plans for 2009 include extending themidway south and adding a Mega Disk'O ride in the lawn area just beyondthe Sky Ride turnaround.
