Wacky/Weird "souveniers" you got from a park.

What is the most unusual item you have taken from a park as a souvenier..

It could be anything, bought or "Stolen".. Found or given to you.

I once found a nail on the ground from Texas Cyclone. But I threw it away.

I won a peice of chain lift from GhostRider at Knott's. It's extremly greesy too. I'm going to clean it off and mount it on a peice of wood and make it look very pretty.

Okay, Here's a pic of the arches I stole from the haunted monestry which was removed from Camelot theme park. I also got a 6ft stretch of the fibreglass stone wall from the Tower of terror coaster when it was removed, that makes a great backdrop for my fishtank!! I got the Pleasureland logo sticker from the front of the cyclone train when they were reconditioned, and 2 spare Vekoma wheels from Traumatizer. Security at British parks is crap so I do quite well!!

I found a bolt laying on the ground underneath SUE. So, I got a free Intamin bolt. Yee haa!

I was at SFWoA today and me and my friend were "talking" to a lifeguard (Stephanie) in the lazy river. She said she is quitting on Wednesday and we asked her if we could have her hat. She said come back so at 6 we got a rugged lifeguard hat with the SFWoA logo on it. She thought we were funny and told us to come back on Wednesday. I think we will to see what else we can get from her.
I have two schwarzkopf rollercoaster wheels, a von roll skyrama bolt, and uhm ... a big piece of texas cyclone wood.

Remember tho, stealing is bad.

I got a few things while working for Disney. One was a small chunk of the Horizons building when it was being demolished.

In addition, I found a pair of my Monorail wings that I lost and had to pay to replace. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I have two pennants from VF's WhiteWater Country--one blue, one gold.

For years, it was a tradition for the employees to share them amongst themselves at the end of a season....but I made so many '01 WWC appearances and made enough friends among the staff that I wound up with a couple of my own (thanks, Randy).

Actually, the banners that year were to be packed away and saved for this year....in fact, this year's banners aren't new....so it may be the last time these 'souvenirs' are available for a while.

My favorite is a ball from a gallery game at PKI. I don't think it's there anymore. You paid money for a bucket of rubber balls the size of baseballs, then you loaded the gun yourself and shot them at targets.

I took one home with me, and it was used as a stopper for a glass jar full of coins for about 5 years. Then, I took it back to PKI with me and shot it back into the gallery. Home at last!

Another time, I was standing in line for the Beast. I was the last person in line at night, with the security officers blocking off the line behind me. Also, there was a man in a suit who looked like a bigwig.

Well, at the time, the Beast line was being repaired or something, and the huge BEAST sign was on the ground. I asked if it was being replaced and the bigwig said possibly.

So then I asked if I could have it. He actually took my name and phone number and said he'd call if they were getting rid of it!

However, obviously that didn't happen because it's still the same sign there today. But I was so close!

Let's see.....the banner from the Beast that welcomed ACE to PKI would be the biggie.....also, a HUGE bolt from Sonny, a piece of Goastrider (sic) track, some PKI maps from WAY back - Jill got one framed for my B-day.... Bits and baubles from several coasters.....most recently at DW, there was a note on the ground reminding the ride-ops of their responsibilities when running Sky Princess.....it was laminated and getting trampled....now it's my latest "souvenir"....

My first "cool" stuff was Raven/Legend wood....you could BUY a piece of Ghostrider wood, but it loses something when you can buy it, so I didn't bother....

Lastly, I did buy off of E-bay a pennant from Santa Claus Land...it arrived before I got back from SRM this year, but I'm sure I'll get it signed next year....(Paula, please let Will and Pat know, and I'll also need you and Jeff H. to sign it.....talk about a "dream team"....)

I had one of those huge hanging baskets from SFGrAdv. The flowers died so we got rid of it. It must have weighed 50 lbs. It was funny seeing us run with this huge basket with security guards chasing us.
I have a very old CP penndant I bought on ebay with the hand written date 8-29-64 on it. Ummm, its not a souvineer but you can touch MF's wheel while sitting in the seat. But you can do that on many rides too probably. ;)

I am a proud owner of a couple of original Banshee t-shirts, plus the Mantis shirt with Banshee "X-ed) out on back. I also have a CP 125 anniversary collector's admission ticket.

Somehow, the blueprints for the Jungle Cruise queue line ended up at my house. It is a mystery to me.

For a long time, I had signs from the Geauga Lake Big Dipper that were sponsor signs. I used one to get my car out of a snowbank and I don't know where the others are.

I don't know how wacky/wierd this is but I bought a piece of the original lumber from Ghostrider from when they replaced some wood. It's marked with the GR logo and a small medallion imbedded in it. The reason I bought this is because GR was my #100 coaster.

I have a hammer that has squeeker things on the end with a wistle on the handle. I got it from Cedar Point. lol. It's good for annoying people.

If you like Wicked Twister in the back, does that mean you like to get screwed in the rear?

Besides my growing collection of shot glasses from parks, James K. gave me a chunk of SF Great America... Well, okay... a piece of the parking lot. :)

Looks like I'll need chunks of every park's lot now.

"I own you!"
"SUCKA!!!!!!!"
-quotes I have been known to exclaim on coasters.

Hmmm I have a Brass Ring from Knoebel's Carousel but I feel bad abotu it now, I told my Girlfriend I feel so bad I am gonna have to take a trip back and throw it into the Lion's mouth. I guess while I am there I will have to take a ride on Twister as well. Yeah thats the ticket ;)

The Beast and Night, They go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly

All I really have is an employee 2001 employee calendar from Cedar Point. But, I did hold a large peice of a Millennium Force wheel once.

I have a coin that came out of a donkey stautue's ass that I got at Efteling in Holland during the ACE ECO trip. Put 30 cents in, watch the tail go up and the donkey laugh and make donkey sounds, then OUT pops your souvenier!

Now that's something you don't see everyday. :)
