I was always OK with the expansion essentially being new scenarios, but what a disappointment that they're so poor.
Rest assured, it's more incentive for me to post my own!

If you like scenery, its probably worth $17. I found a lot of the pieces useful, expecially the European and American pieces (i was already working on an american themed park, so they were put to good use).
The new scenery is less cartoony and more detailed. But the shading is off, and some things don't fit together well. And the scale of some items is just ridiculous.
As far as new rides, this has been covered. Most are not useful. The coasters that have new cars are complete separate rides, not just another car option for the current coaster in the game. Meaning you have to reconstruct the coaster if you want to use that car. Most of the animal themed stuff is sort of stupid. And the new coasters do not have any premade coasters available, except the ones already in the scenarios which are not that good.
All in all, it looks like a big time rush job. I got my $17 of scenery.

The themed rides are slightly useful, but they are just different versions of what's there. They do at least look different if you are wanting to add more flat rides to a park. I also find some of the new themed coaster cars good for creating dark rides.
So if you want theming, buy it if you find it on sale (its still not worth $30). If you want rides, skip it.
