Wack Worlds Expansion pack may not be compatable w

I was look at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000089SOW/ref=bxgy_cc_text_b/002-3665458-7768804?v=glance&s=videogames and I saw that WW will only work with Windows 95 and Windows 98. What is up with Infogames not making compatable with Windows XP?

Why would the expansion pack not be compatible with Windows 95? The game itself isn't even compatible with it. Im guessing its a misprint or something, because that makes no sense at all.

It say it is Compatable with Windows 95. But its uncertain it will be compatable with Windows XP. I have heard LL is nt compatable with Win XP and I guess WW won't be ethier.

I better be compatible with Windows 2000.

I don't think there will be a compatibility issue. More than likely this is just an oversight. Most games now are only compatible with newer operating systems and higher end computers. LL does work with XP. All you needed to do was download the patch from the Infogrames site.

What is LL?

Whats red yellow and blue at SFGAm...???

Loopy Landscapes, the last expansion pack of the first RCT game.

It sure doesn't make sense if RCT2 is compatable with XP. Sure sounds like a mispring. If not, I'm sure there will be a patch.

I lost my hat on Poison Ivy. How pathetic.

LL is fine with XP as is RCT 2. if for some reason, WW is not fully compatable with XP, then you can run it under 2000 or 98 or whatever you choose.

gimmie a hell yeah!

RCT2 is compatable with win95,I use win95 & have experienced no trouble running RCT2 on my PC at all.

I did recall reading somewhere that RCT2WW isn't XP compatable however so for XP users you'd better think about either upgrading to a higher OS or just downgrade to win95 or 98.

Please people. Windows XP has been out for 2 years. RCT 2 has been out since then and it works perfectly fine. Any program made today will be compatable with XP or it will not sell a copy.

It is just too much trouble to say with every program that it is compatable with Win 95/98/98se/me/xp/2000.

If you own XP it doesn't matter, you can set it to run the program under an older OS. Believe me, I have to do it on some of my applications.

Favorite Wood: Phoenix at Knoebels
Favorite Steel: Millennium Force at Cedar Point

Everybody has problems with XP except me. I have every RCT game and I have XP and mine work perfectly.

Is it May 3rd yet? SFGAm

So, evan if its not compatible with WinXP, all you have to do is set the Computer to run it as if the Computer has Win95 or 98. I did it with the first RCT and it works fine.

"Grit Your Teeth, Bare The Load, Enjoy your ride, on Thunder Road"

Do you seriously think that a software company in its right mind would release a title that is NOT compatible with the most current Windows OS (let alone the previous 2?) Especially since the main program that this expansion requires IS compatible? C'mon, that's just plain nutty. Email Amazon and tell them about their error.

Think, people! :)

Yes. I am going to downgrade from WinXP for one game which is compatible with WinXP.

Yeah, that was kind of a dumb statement. Why would anyone downgrade OS just for a game?! Besides, you can open any game in XP with other OS.

Just Right Click the Shortcut. Goto the Compatibilty Tab. Check the box that says "Make Compatible with" (or something like that) and set to an older version. Not Hard at all.

Besides, RCT2 works for XP for me, so I have no problem.
