Thank you Paula! This is just beyond words......

http://www.holidayworld.com/holiblog/holiblog.html

I can't repeat what I said when I first saw these pictures or I would probably get banned or get a ton of dates, or both. :-)

But, let's just say I needed to turn on the fan. ;-)

WOW!

Just.......yeah, that!

Is it May yet?

MMMM Sweet Candy!

I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!
Paula - any chance of a higher resolution version of that first drop shot? I'd like to do a A3 (er, 11x17) print of same and stick it on the wall :-)

Richard, TGG has been pretty good about putting some high res on their site. But you'll probably have to wait a couple weeks on that one.
Chuck, who knows they only put Januarys pics up last week.

^That's the ONE thing I miss about being in the printing business. I miss making A3's, posters, and calendars of your favorite coasters while you SHOULD be waiting on customers. ;-)

It's a good thing Dave Chappelle doesn't own an amusement park, LOL! ;)

I don't want to start a new thread for this even though this had nothing to do with v-day.

The location of Voyage's triple down kept confusing me because I did not see a tunnel long enough for it. I was assuming they were combining the first two of the out run into one for the return trip. However in this pic you can see that the north side comes above ground with both tracks. Watching the animation again and pausing it on the out run, I think you can see that there is an above ground tunnel connecting the tunnel in that pic to one not shown. That dip into the tunnel should be the third dip of the double down. The other tunnel shown here is the farthest north and is not connected to the other two. There is one in the middle not shown and I don't think we have seen any construction on the 5th hill yet which looks pretty cool in the renderings. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I guess I am trying to say that the tripple down will all be in one tunnel, but the middle part of that tunnel will be above ground. Am I making any sense at all?

If I am right about that, I am not sure which I like better. A long tunnel for the complete triple down seems cool but so is two tunnels with two head choppers. Either way, the angle of that third dip here with the train going fast looks like it will be awesome in the back. I can't wait to ride this thing. *** Edited 2/26/2006 5:50:23 PM UTC by RavenTTD***

Paula posted a pic of the "other two" 90 degree banks. Looks great!

I saw the animation for this thing when it was first announced, but didn't think all that much about it -- CG animations never really work for me.

After seeing these latest pictures, especially the northern turnaround.......OMFG. I keep trying to refocus my eyes to make sure I'm actually seeing what I'm seeing.

If I don't make it to Holiday World this year, I'm gonna....I don't know what I'm going to do. I HAVE to go to Holiday World this year.

Wow, the picture of the turnaround alone is leaving me speechless...
Saint Patrick's Day produced some pretty pictures, too.

And not just because of the luck of the Irish!

Yum!

The trains are gonna sceam through that whole section. I'm glad they lowered the turn into the tunnel before the block brake. :)

Gotta admitt, I was getting very antsy for some Voyage pics. Since the blog was having some problems and we had a stormy few days. I forgive you.

Id be there for the photo tours but I have to work, I'll get mine in EPT at HWN.

Thanks for the pics Paula and crew!
Chuck, who's still amazed every new thing he sees of Voyage. Is my Condo done yet? Hot Tub, Indoor plumbing, AC? :)
