Volcano Bay opens at Universal Orlando

The opening ceremony of Universal's Volcano Bay was punctuated with tribal drumming, singing, chanting and watery activities that reflect the South Seas theme of Orlando's newest water park.

I find it smart and interesting that Universal is marketing this as their "third park", and they also are marketing it in a way that is encouraging families to stay three days in order to do everything at the Orlando resort. I could see families with teens doing spring break trips doing the Universal Parks and then Seaworld and Aquatica as an alternative to a week at Disney, and that sounds like a fantastic experience, actually, and it's probably even cheaper.
