VisionLand will open starting with water park

Thursday morning, Bessemer City Council voted unanimously to approve a plan that will advance the park the $1.2 million it needs to operate. The park was expected to open over the Memorial Day weekend this year, but money problems kept the park closed. The water park should be open within a week and a half.

Yeah, if you like water parks. It appears that Rampage will not open. YUCK! They need to take a tip from Water World in Gulf Shores - run the water park and charge $5 for 3 rides on Rampage. I bet they'd make some decent money - enough to keep Rampage running, anyway.
