VisionLand Update...Doesn't Look Good

The park released that as of Monday July 2, only 6,290 visitors had entered the park since its June 14 opening, less than 1/3 of the original 23,400 attendance projection by that point. Even worse, VL has only sold 1,400 season passes, only 22% of the expected 6,300 season passes to be sold.

Does anyone know the operating hours for the park? Even their website (http://www.visionlandpark.com) is gone. Will Rampage ever operate again? Would any company even want to buy such a struggling park?

If any locals happen to know any operating information, could you let us know? Perhaps I could check out the waterpark...

[shrug] is that a surprise? I wouldn't go to a park that wasn't running their coaster.
The sad thing is that even when Rampage was operating, one of the greatest wooden coasters in the world, 70% of the patrons were just going for the waterpark. And now that can't even attract people, let alone buyers.

Agreed with FP. It seemed that they were looking to fail by not having Rampage open.

EDIT: Wow, that's weird astrosgp. Maybe not running Rampage made sense then.

Rampage looks sweet but to bad I will never get to ride it. My cousin lives right nevt to Visionland and she hates the park and never visits.

In my dream of dreams, CF snatches up Rampage in an auction and hustles it off to the plentiful flat lands of MA.

Just imagine....

How about moving the MegaPhobi-clone down the road a piece to Jazzland.....*thinking* that the differences b/w MegaZeph and Rampage are significant, to provide two different experiences....(but I've ridden neither, so someone else may know better)....
