Visionland opening

Visionland will open its gates next weekend under new ownership. I have heard that the Rampage has been restored back to its glory days. Does any one plan on attending the event?

Define "glory days". I have underwear older than that ride.

According to the BHAM news, the ride has been restored back to operating condition. In 2001, the Rampage was rated in the top 10 wooden coasters in the nation. I am looking forward to riding it over and over.

I'll be there,as well as a few ACErs who have been asked to help out.

Couldn't really justify going THAT far this close to SRM, although it sounded pretty cool...hoping to do the RRR/Lake Winnie events back-to-back later in the year...(but don't tell Jill)...;)

In today's Bham News, Visionland had a 4 page promotional section discussing the changes and it included a map. All of the changes to Celebration Street sound nice (lazer tag, more resturants, etc.) The name of the new rides are Wild Scrambler, The Patriot (round-up), Kahuna Waves, and Drop Out Fall (waterslide).

Stratos Fear Screamer is now the Space Shot (the turbo drop side has been removed), and a couple of other rides have new names. It also appears that they have removed both their Huss Enterprise and their log flume.

Oh....It also appears they are now a Coke park too (thank goodness because Pepsi Sucks ;) ).
