Visionland drops case to build aquarium

Visionland lawyers have decided not to appeal a judge's decision that allowed Jefferson County to condemn 485 acres of land that Visionland was planning to use to build an $90 million acquarium. Read the story from Alabama Live

Thats Alabama for you. They would rather build a sewer plant than spend money to bring money to the state.
Although I'd like to see as many improvements as possible for this park, I think its probably best they didn't go through with the acquarium. The park is already up to its ears in debt, the last thing they need to do is spend another $90 million on another project. That's what got them in financial trouble in the first place.

if they don't have any money - why are they trying to build an aquarium or are they just making it seem as though they don't have any money? if so build some COASTERS

90 million for a ****ing aquarium, what did they have in there, Shamu and his crew or something, It would be a little more lucrative to build 2 or 3 coasters with that money.
