Viper parts are at SFKK

The Viper parts are on-site at SFKK near the front behind RRE and the old picnic area. The track and supports are still unpainted. The big wheel is clearly visible above the mass of parts. Could not find the cars and I couldn't tell exactly where the construction site was or if anything was going on there. I took some digital photos if someone would like to post them on their website or a Yahoo gallery or something. Cant wait to ride this thing!

Well, considering they're re-naming/re-theming the ride, the cars will need to be repainted or replaced at the least...remember, they were totally *tricked out* to fit Viper.

Very good well-being lark this...Absolut*ly Reliable

He emailed me the pictures.

Please visit the small parks. We don't know what's happening behind the scenes

That's great to see the track there. When they showed the computer generated Greezed Lighting on Louisville TV it showed that the track was going to be a teal green and blue supports with a all wooden station. Not sure the color scheme, but that what they showed!

The track has been there for some time. Maybe like the begining of December. I am glad to see some pics finally though.

A one that is not cold, is hardly a one at all.

Hey RollerGator, why does your message say "Left for Ice, right for Fire?" Is that what the recording says in the queue? Isn't it left for Fire and right for Ice?

Shouldn't be much of a problem... it's just the fiberglass shells that will need to be repainted. The cars themselves are all black.

Is that a Q-bot in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

Hooray it's ViperWave!!! I loved this ride when I rode it at SFoG. I think it's great that it is now closer to home.

So Swoosh, would it be called Greezed ViperWave now??? :)

Unfortunately woodencoaster.com is being problematic at this time. :( I can see it now: a snake with 50's style apparel and sideburns on a surfboard.....

Model coasters and rides

Those are the worst spy photos ever. If Six Flags had an ounce of creativity they would build a tunnel to launch the coaster out. Can you imagine the experience of emerging into the daylight and then re-entering the tunnel going backwards? While your at it redo the cars to liik like '40 Fords.

What have you gotten me into?

I just wonder with it being in the front side of the park, how well the theming will be towards the name. Also, will they ever make the back side of SFKK(across the bridge) look like a Six Flags park? Other than a few signs it looks just like typical Kentucky Kingdom.

Their layout absolutely sucks. This park has so much potential to be great for its size and this new adition will just make it better, but whoever in the h*** descided the layout needs to be shot. It seems once they crossed the road, they just spun the "path designer" around in circles, blind folded him, let him go and just put a path wherever he stubled. I just hope they don't make it any more jacked up when they plop this ride down on their property.
I love Viper!!!!!!!!

Geez sooorrry thats as close as I could get and i just had my cheapo cam on me... I dont see any other SFKK spy pics out there, just trying to contribute.

Anyways, I saw where theyre setting it up, and they are tearing up the antique cars in the process. That takes a huge chunk out of SFKK's already small family offering, does anyone know if they're planning to set them up elsewhere in the park?

Hey Beast Freak...have you ever been to a park where there are so many dead ends? I would love to see them build a tunnel underneath the road. I use to work there, and when the park is packed, that bridge sways really bad!

SFKK has a good kiddie ride section. They have a good assortment of "rides for the whole family" in the sense that there is something to please everyone, not nessicarly a *family ride*. But hey, I'll take Greezed Lightnin' over Antique Cars anyday. :)

I heard the Antique Cars will be moved to another part of the park! Not sure where though.
