I was browsing through rcdb.com and came across in the new for 2002 season was listed Viper at Great Adventure as being reopening this year. The opening date is listed as 3/29/02. So, to all your Viper fans, the ride looks like it's back. I didn't find any info about if there are any kind of new restraints or lap bars on it.

Your working on Nitro this year? That is awesome...I really wanna get out there and try it out. Obviously I'm a big B&M fan...and I wanna try one of their hypers...and it looks like Nitro has some awesome airtime.

I'm guessing I'm the only persoon who thinks Viper will be smooth this year. Look wht they did to the Chiller so there's definatly a chance for a turn around, right?-----------------
Noper....the change on Chiller involved new restraints in the form of just a lap bar, and as I said before the restraints on viper are still exactly the same. And when the state inspector was there on Thursday, he rode it himself and proclaimed it still to be the "king of all headbangers".
