This whole week, the new Villain wooden coaster has been shut down at Six Flags Ohio. The employees, when asked, will say that they don't know, but they way they are talking, you know something is up. The Villain is new this year at the park. It is a CCI double out-and-back woody.
I happened to visit the park today, since my company was having a management retreat down the road at the Bertram Inn. I dropped in at noon to find that Batman was closed (in what looked like a setup with trains on the lift and mid-course), Serial Thriller closed and of course Villain.
I'm pretty much at the end of my rope with this park. It has nothing to do with Cedar Point (because I know that someone here will try to make that point). The real story is that: 1) I want these world-class rides to be open and available, and 2) I want the services I paid for.

I am really surprised they have so many rides down. Kentucky Kindom has had problems with Twisted Sisters teal train which is a Gershuener (SP) every now and then.
Im going up there Monday, I really want to get on everything. Crap!
Get it together Six Flags!!
Attention single ladies...I am indeed available!

I was at the park (I posted this) the lapbars are having problems. Also, Serial Thriller is having problems too.
If there are problems with your signature rides, wouldn't you think there would be people feverishly working on them? That's what irritates me the most, is that there are not people there working 24/7 to make the things work.

Jeff-
There wasn't a soul fixing Villain or a soul fixing Serial Thriller's green train.
I am a SFO maniac (today was my 14th visit) but every time some big breakdown happens. Breakdowns can happen. Thats not the fault of SFO. SFO is at fault of not fixing the ride.
I have never seen this at CP
That's exactly my point. Machines break, such is life. People fix them, they don't fix themselves.

Mongoose, it looks like you have a full time job with lots of overtime. If you are a mechanic there, please share with us why so many rides broke down at the same time.
Actually I am only 14. I have been going to the park for 9 years, and it is like my second home. But it never fails to piss me off. I know Thriller and Rotor Man personally, and know every square inch of that park. I can answer ANY question.
Hey Mongoose, since your there a lot of the time, have you heard whats going on with the rocket ships, the flying scooters, the monorail, and any other rides sitting in pieces or not operating?
I was really surprised to see them erect the old Mirage structure for a re-theme seeing that that ride was down so much the past few years.
Anyone know where the Corkscrew went?
You may be able to ride the old Geauga lake Cyclone coaster at the Ohio state fair this year. It was sold to Holiday world and re-named Firecracker, and was then sold to Amusements of America in 98, who do the state fair. It was called "Avalanch" last year, and has been painted blue and white.
Just thought Id share
