This is getting passed all around on Facebook, so I thought I'd share it here.
News coverage (onride and offride footage) of Alton Towers new 'psychoaster' - Thirteen.
The video contains the 'surprise' so consider this your *SPOILER* warning.

I dunno. I think they might have overpromised on this one. I especially think back to this story which tried to sell us on age restrictions and ride limits due to concerns about emotional maturity and physical health.
Neat idea, I guess. Maybe someone will take the technology and do more with it.
That Sun article is pretty funny. Seems like it belongs on the Onion. I guess they really let the marketing department go on that one.
Looks like a mix between a Mine Ride and The Mummy. I agree with Gonch, definately looks like the overpromised on this.
However we hype the hash, I still want to ride it. The layout through the woods will probably be great at night.
Poor Justin. I suspect he's suffered from hearing damage.
I dunno, I think it's kind of a neat looking ride. Backward stuff always freaks me out a little, even when I know it's coming, as with Everest.

Meh....
Looks mildly entertaining.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Looks like one part Everest and one part Tower of Terror minus any theming. I don't think I will be making it over any time soon.
Before you can be older and wiser you first have to be young and stupid.
Sadly I feel very meh.
Screamscape had the big surprise posted long ago, but with the video, I was expecting it to be...bigger, longer? Meh. The outdoor section looks major fun, and will be great at nite and when it fills in with shrubs and such.
The indoor part lacks theming, and this coaster was hyped to make me think it would have theming throughout. Especially the pix on Flickr. I'll ride it, and won't judge till I do, but it looks like it could have been at least themed better.
I love me a good gimmick coaster, so I'd probably love it.

Looks cool to me, but then,I'm getting old. Kind of hoped that the backwards section would have been a tad bit longer.
Reminds me of a Rollerskater like Woodstock Express.
I really dig the scary black monster things in the station.

None of the effects or theme elements were "turned on" during that video.
Well thats actually good news, then, because if there are indeed effects and what not indoors, then I would be more excited. I think the outdoor part looks really fun but I was underwhelmed with the indoor parts. And as for the surprise section (do we still need to spoiler alert that?), I just expected it to be bigger, but again, I'll hold off until I ride it, whenever I get to Alton.
Looks like a family coaster. Maybe the effects will push it over the top? Wonder how fun the drop will be after you've been on it once or twice. It doesn't exactly drop you very far.
