In a Wired interview, The Gravity Group engineer Korey Kiepert explains how all the roller coasters work.

To be the "Well, actually...." guy, BTMRR is incorrectly labelled as 7DMT at 12:57.

But overall it's a really neat video and a good introduction to the subject.

I bet my old friends at GCI would love a GG guy doing an interview in front of a GCI coaster.
