Vertigo is now up on Cedar Point's web site. The price is an incredibly cheap $15.00! Hopefully SFMM's will also be $15.00.

Well, if the rumours are True, SFMM's Version will actually cost 30 Dollars, Seems terribly expensive, but lets hope its the same price at CP. Even though this sounds like an amazing ride, I would no way pay 30 Dollars to ride it, But would probably pay 15 Dollars.

When riding, you'll go 60 ft. higher than Power Tower, and it will be a much different experience being hung upside down at 300 feet!

Now who says that CP & SFMM are competing? Adding the same ride at their own park.

$15 for something likely to last 2-3 minutes at best (including loading/unloading) isn't exactly cheap in my checkbook. At any rate, I'll leave it to the more adventurous riders and stick to coasters -- the lines will be shorter! :)

Stealth...
Lord Gonchar said "Ummmm, because it looks like a good ride that would generate additional revenue for the park?"

Yeah that pretty much says it. CP and MM both have Skycoasters too, does that mean they are competeing over them??

The two parks don't have to get different rides so it doesn't look like they're competeing, and they don't have to get identicle rides because they are competeing.

this is what cp's site said for vertigo..."The ride structure will consist of three gigantic towers standing an amazing 270 feet tall"

and this is what cp said about PT..."The massive 300-foot-tall Power Tower consists of four 240-foot-tall towers topped with connecting arches. "

you do the math.......

I did the math.

That quote doesn't mean the ride you actually take doesn't hit 300 ft. That just means that the structures only go up to 270 ft. Over at GTTP people have confirmed that the bungee cords/cables will all ow the vehicle to hit 300 ft...notice the illustration on CP's website.

Power Tower's towers only going up 240 ft. Therefore, subtracting 240 ft. from 300 ft. would give you 60 ft.

There you go.

Hey Stealth, look who has the same sig. And guess who joined first and had it before you did, me. Not that I really care that much, but I would appreciate it if you would change it(I'm in a good mood today).
