Earlier today, Disney celebrated another significant milestone at Shanghai Disney Resort with the installation of the first steel column at the resort’s theme park. It’s a moment that marks the start of vertical construction at Shanghai Disneyland, the theme park that’ll eventually include Enchanted Storybook Castle – the largest and most interactive Disney castle.

From accounts on the ground, this is a cluster of monumental proportions. Will be very interesting to watch the mad scramble between now and opening day.
I wonder how many thousands of people Disney got the Chinese government to forcibly remove from their land for this project....
