It helps if you're going to submit a rumor from another website, that you at least spell the name of the company correctly. It's Vekoma.
they bought a 4th pier now and are probably are going to build it there.  That pier used to be the dino pier.
Why don't they just reopen the PTC mine ride that's sitting SBNO there?

hopes you enjoyed the Dahlonega Mine Train.
That would be great if the piers got one. I love the piers.
whats a tilt coaster any way
Morey's Piers has room to build on the pier directly south of the original Morey's Pier, which was Hunt's Pier for many years and most recently, Dinosaur Beach.  From what I understand, the company is waiting to redevelop the pier, it was supposed to happen this year but obviously got put off.

I'm not exactly sure what the Vekoma Tilt Coaster is all about (I've only seen a few renderings) but I can honestly say that I was hoping for an ultra-compact B&M, or maybe a custom-designed Flying Dutchman.  Perhaps wishful thinking...

It is only a rumor. Period. There are no plans to build a Tilt Coaster on Hunt's Pier, or any other location in Wildwood. Morey's has maintained a close relationship with Vekoma, with the operation of the Great Nor'Easter, the Sea Serpent, and the Giant Wheel. The Vekoma sales staff is often in the area with clients who want to sample the 'goods', or products.

As for Vekoma, they have a Hammerhead Stall they need placed, and they have a partially constructed Tilt available, but the Moreys, with 89 rides now (see Guiness, or how they can't count) do not want a prototype attraction. They amount of work that 28 mechanics have to do now is mind boggling, with the salt air and painting and such. Older days when the Serpent and the GNE arrived, they had less to worry about.

BTW, Morey's has a reduced wristband price for the next 3 weekends, like $27 for all the rides. Did I mention no lines?
