Vekoma SLC? - CoasterBuzz

I dont remember where I heard this, but isnt one of the six flags parks closing one of their Vekoma SLC?

There is some "rumor" around re: Kong, but I think people are just confused by Kong-frontation closing....I'd be surprised if SFMW really gave up on the ride....and no SLC is worth the cost of moving it to another park....;)

Why would Six Flags close down an SLC? It doesn't make any sense.

Well if they did they'd probably just move it to SFAW!

They could send it to Frontier City, in Oklahoma City. Even an SLC could help that park. Besides all they ever get are used coasters from other parks. Diamond Back came from Six Flags Great Adventure as Lightning Loops, Wildcat came from Fairyland Park as Wildcat, Silver Bullet came operated at the Texas State Fair from 1980-83.

Doesn't SFAW already have an SLC? That would be funny if SF moved it there, and then was like, "Oh crud, we already moved one here." It'd be the first set of deuling SLC's!

I hope they move or close Mind Eraser at SFNE. I'm so sick of that thing. Put a GCI Wood in it's place.

Frontier city and SFA used to be the same, but now Frontier City still sux and SFA doesn't. Plus if we sold Mind Eraser, we could give it to Baha Amusement Park in Ocean City, Maryland.

A SLC can help any park, don't under-estimate the power of these things. While enthusiasts may think they suck, the GP is pretty fond of these things.

I don't think they will close it, but I have never been there so I could be completly wrong.

RD, your right, there is a reason for these things popping up. But mabye long lines are deciving becuase the low capacity?
