I just got back from vegas!!! It was one of the coolest trips i have ever been on and i was really sad that we left. The first coaster i rode was manhattan express, i loved it and i agree it was expensive but i got in on that re-ride. The next coaster was high roller, it was pretty cool, and the view was amazing. Then Big Shot, i have a forum about it in the general section. Speed: The Ride was awesome! But i only got to ride it once. My trip to vegas was incredible. I stayed at Mandanlay Bay and it was the best!!!! We saw eberything and even Cirque de Solei which was one of the most incredible things i have ever seen. i would have to say i would be back to vegas in a second and i love that city!!!!

Did you go and ride Desperado? I know its kinda far out there but worth the ride.
Are Speed, Desperado, Manthatten Ex, and High Roller very far from each other? Great TR. Did you like forwards or backwards through Speed best> And were any rough?

Koaster King: Speed, ME, High Roller, Big Shot, and Canyon Blaster (not previously mentioned) are all on the Las Vegas Strip. If you are up to it, you can walk (or strategicly take trams and moving sidewalks) to all of those without too much trouble.

Desperado, however, is a good 40 miles South on I-15 at the California/Nevada border at Buffalo Bill's. As a former world's tallest & fastest, I say it's worth the trip. 2 fantastic drops, 3 really good bunny hops, and a pretty darn good indoor helix are the highlights of the ride. But, it is "Magnum rough," but no OSTR's, so I can handle it!

Yeah all of them are on the strip except for Desporado. I didn't go, i didn't think it was worth it. Speed rules and Manhatten and High Roller are about the same roughness. They aren't bad though. Speed is very smooth, and i like going both ways, but i think that forwards was more thrilling only because of the speed, the turn and the tower. The loop is pretty tight for how fast you are going. Big Shot is the best ride in Vegas though, Speed does compete though.

I just got back from Las Vegas too for my second time. I did decide to take the trip to Desperado and it was worth it though. Well at least I thought so.
Well, i was with my family, and our vacation was packed!!! We did everything, i mean everything. and we really didn't have time. also i didn't want to bother begging, i was already begging to ride speed again. That is all.

Desperado is well worth the short trip. With coupons found on the strip, you can ride it all you want for only about $15. Both times I was there, the ride had no wait time at all.
When I went last year they wouldnt let Desperado go unit there were 12 people on the train. Either 12 or 15 im not 100% sure. That was the first time I have ever waited for more people to get on a ride before they would let it go.
