Vandalism MF

I was a CP 5/25 and it was sad to see all of the etching/scribbling/gum/names all over the supports. The rides only been open a few weeks and it already looks bad. Dumb people.
Someone should do something quick to stop this. It can get outta hand.
They should just give out MF playing cards to people in line to play eucher or something just to pass the time...what a bunch of idiots. Just once I want to catch someone doing it...I know I have large enough Ba*** to stop someone, and hey if they want to bring it on, then let's go outside, then they will lose and I'll be back in the park with my season pass riding again. They will go home with a couple of busted ribs and hurt pride...Heck, it would make me feel a hell of a lot better!!
We should get something going at CP to stop this crap. I cannot believe the amount of people who disrespect greatness.
(I know violence is NOT the solution, but it will result to that, if I catch 'em!)

UH OH!!!! Beware of Woody! Easy Tiger!!! You are right about people defacing property. It gets under my skin at times and is a complete eyesore to look at. But with so many people in one spot you are going to get the immature crowd.
Wildcat wuz here.

The only place this happens is up the ramp to the station. You'd think since it was in plain sight it wouldn't happen, but it does. It's the same kind of railing on Magnum's exit, which you'll notice has been painted several times. I'm sure MF's ramp will be next.

When I was there earlier in the week, the railing was already sanded down to the steel. So the vandals seemed to move onto the bright red posts leading to the station.

Yeah, thats what I was referring to, the red posts near the station.
Boy, do i hate people who vandilize, polute or do anything to hurt a park or its rides. Heck, we even have people jumping off coasters because they want to file a lawsuit.I'm not blaming the parks, but I think something should be done fast. Amuesment park and coaster fanatics would never do anything to hurt a park its reputation.
In a previous post someone stated about que line vandalism: "Just another example of my frustration when you put world-class rides in the hands of people that have no clue how to run said rides."

Yes, that was me referring to SFO's operation... what does that have to do with this?

Vandalism on the MF... Could this be the reason for the two and a half hour delay of the opening of the coaster on 5/16? A cast member in the parking lot said that MF would not open till noon instead of 10am. I did see vandalism on the railing leading to the loading platform... I just do not remember if it looked like fresh vandalism.

Also, the support columns holding up the last turn of the ride seem to have been touched up with silver paint. The spots are also half way or more up the supports. I don't see why these areas would need to be touched up (Or am I incorrect in assuming that this is touch up work?).

Take this one with a grain of salt... But, while I was there, I also heard someone say that the wheels on the trains get so worn that they have to be replaced each night? However, I can't imagine that being the case.
I worked in the Far East and the Middle East. In the Far East they give you 10 to 25 lashes with a wet cane for grafetti. In the Middle East they either stone you or cut off your hand.

Amazing, but there's a LOT less grafetti over.

The paint that you're seeing is mostly around the bolts, and that is the reason for the delayed opening on 5/16. If you would have motored through Camp Snoopy that morning, you would have seen guys hanging by ropes on the turns painting over the bolts.

Hmmm....Mad Dog, that sounds like a good solution! LOL!
I agree with Mad Dog. Do you think our fearless leader...aka Slick Willy will do anything about it in Congress??

What does the president have to do with local law enforcement?

If it comes right down to cutting off an appendage, then I think it must become Federal, don't you agree. Yeah, sure, let's cut off Ohioans hands and feet, but leave those darn Kentuckians alone!!! But in Kentucky if you took off a toe per violation, then he's got 12 chances!!!

Too Funny Woody.

I once knew a guy from Kentucky that was soooo stupid that he had to drop his pants to count to 21.

Hey wait a minute, the Simpsons are Kentuckian. That should give them some points there...
