Valleyscare???

I noticed on the bottom of the Valleyfair home page that it said a halloween event called Valleyscare is coming to Valleyfair this October. Does anyone have any more info on this? It looks like something I'd go to. Back in I think about ... 1999 or 1998, Valleyfair had a halloween Haunt. Did anyone go to this and have any memories of it/pics/ facts? Thanks
I thought this topic was going to be about people not going to VF because Wild Thing derailed. I have seen a few people change their plans based on that already.
They stole the Haunt from Geauga Lake.
I thought the same thing Raven. Doesn't Valleyfair normally have a Halloween event? Is this new?

If they haven't in the past, I am guessing it's because it can be pretty darn cold in Minnesota near the end of October.

Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.
They had one through the end of the '98 season. Stopped having it due to low attendance, ie: cold.

This year, there'll be two haunted midways, and three haunted house things (one is inside the bumper cars building, another in the galaxy theatre, and I dunno bout the third) *** Edited 6/3/2006 11:56:06 PM UTC by Drew***

HAZZOOLAH!
That would make sense since it was mentioned at the Coastermania Q&A yesterday that Geauga's event is definentlynot coming back this season.

Now officially a Halloween Haunt Cornstalker for Fall '08! www.freewebs.com/chadmicah
i think it would be cool to do a "coasters in the cold" event or something like that. but they would never do something like that.

"English! Who needs that, I'm never going to England" Homer Simpson
I didn't like it when the last day VF closed last year was Sept 24. Some of the weekends in oct can be will nice with temps in the 80's and the 70's and on the flip side some weekends could be cold and rainy.
Yeah, I called Valleyfair and they said that there were going to be three haunted houses and two scare zones.

Haunted House #1: Bumper cars building
Haunted House #2: Hi-Test Arcade(Over by Wild Thing)
Haunted House #3: Game Warehouse(Behind the game section by Riptide)
--
Scare Zone #1: In the area by Monster, Corckscrew, the Ferris Wheel, etc.

Scare Zone #2: In the area by the Waterpark, Looping Starsh*t, Mad Mouse, and IMAX.

That's all the person knew. I will be working there this October, so I'll definetly post some photos, or email them into screamscape or something.--
SVL Fever-- Yes this is new, they had a halloween event in 98`, but didn't have one since. *** Edited 6/4/2006 2:52:49 PM UTC by VF--New-coaster07***
