ValleyFair's Train

I've been to ValleyFair! a few times now, but I have never seen the train run. It is always sitting behind Wild Thing near the street. The first time we went to the park, the lake appeared to be flooded over the train bridge, so that wasn't a big surprise that the train was running. But the other times we've been to the park, I have not seen it run. Is there a reason for this?

It's been running every time I've been there so far this year. Although not as fast as it was the year before.

As for the bridge. The water comes up enough to partially submerge the ties. I have never seen it completely under water. Plus the Twin Cities has been in sort of a drought this summer so I can't see how the lake would flood out.

When have you gone?
