All that land beyond the trees is also subject to flooding as it's beyond the flood wall.
EPL is rather low and even more likely to flood than the rides beyond the wall (Excalibur, TC).
There's nothing going there.
They'll start scooping up dirt where I told you they would after Labor Day.

OK, the reason they cut back on hours is because:
1. Too many people that were hired acctually came to work. More people were there than they expected, so they cut down on hours. When people were mad about that, they got other jobs, etc. so when VF wanted them to work more, they couldn't because of their 2nd job. SO it seemed at the end of the summer that we had no staff.
2. Larry is more concerned about budgeting than Walt was.
The land behind Ex and TC is extremely expensive, so they wouldn't build on that for many years, or we'll have to wait 4-5 more years for the next big ride. There are plenty of other places they can put things. Cedar Fair knows what they are doing.

There's nothing to see but three red painted 'X' marks right now. But if you walk due north from the VF re-entry gate by Challenge park, you'll see B02 -2.
B02 -1 and B02 - 3 are to the east and west.

About the land behind TC and Excalibur..isn't that some sort of reserve almost...
Right idea, wrong side of the park. There is a reserve in the area, but it's to the east of the park, not the west.
Murphy's Landing (a historic site--think Greenfield Village on a really tight budget) borders the park on the Excalibur side.

Ouch. I feel bad for the kids in school that have to visit that place on a field trip year in, year out.

Charlie, You sound like a nice guy, so please don't get mad at me. I have a trick I can teach about coasterbuzz. See that little edit button above each post? It's cool to use because if you want to add something to one of your old posts, it allows you to do it without posting again.
I don't know why, but it seems that everyone around here uses it when they fogot to say something. It's cool. You can also use it to fix misspelled words of typos. We all have typos sometimes
Someone else can tell you about about the abbreviations.
Welcome to Coasterbuzz. It's a lot of fun if you follow a few simple guidelines. I would suggest reading the Terms of Service located at the homepage. It will save you a lot of problems in the future.
I am looking forward to hearing what VF builds as well. I really hope it's a B&M inverted. Whatever they get will be great though.

Okayyyyyy, so why is Charlie Corbo going to 'check things out' and 'ask around' if his grandpa already knows? And the owner of VF--what's her name?
