Valleyfair has tapped independent shop Gabriel deGrood Bendt as its lead advertising agency following a review, the shop announced. The Minneapolis agency's first task will be to develop a brand campaign for the Shakopee, Minn., client's 2006 season. The campaign, which will break in early spring 2006, is expected to include television, radio, outdoor and print work.

Makes sense to give a new agency a try. This season was their first with less than a million attending since WT if not earlier...to say nothing of great weather AND a new ride.
Riptide had to be the most poorly marketed ride ever. I don't think your average Ole Uffda had any clue what it did from the print ads.
