Valleyfair Family Amusement Park has announced KidTrack, a new program that assists in quickly reuniting lost children with their parents. Guests with children can register for the safety system at Guest Services or Berenstain Bear Country, where a special KidTrack wristband with the parent’s cell phone number is placed on the child’s wrist. If the child gets lost, she simply needs to go to any Park employee for help. KidTrack assures that Valleyfair has an immediate method to contact the parent.

whoopee... I knew all Cedar Fair parks were gonna use this... why waste the energy to post it? I work at Mich. Adv and they've had theirs for a while now... no press release or anything. Must be a slow news day.
Mammosh, you're too much (boy, that's a mouthful).
Anyway, I'm glad that I grew up when we didn't have such elaborate child-safety measures. I fondly remember getting lost at PKI and having to go to that funny place next to the (now) Phantom Theater.
Here's a link to a great article along those same lines:

I guess because none of the DP folk bothered submitting it as a news item, even when the park itself provided a press release.
But you'll be seeing more VF news in a bit anyway...

Whew, I thought he was talking about short curlies.
"surveying work has already been done"
Was that surveying in the same place they were drilling holes in the parking lot yesterday? Next to Challenge Park.
