THE foam ball "lodge" that kept me interested for quite a long time was the one at Silver Dollar City...if they come up with anything half that good, it will be an excellent addition for Valleyfair! Of course, SDC's also had an enormous water play area built in with it, the most amazing fun fort ever built for kids...of all ages...:)

The Rockin' Tug and the Foam Ball factory make perfect sense on the heels of Steel Venom, and ensure that VF throws the widest possible net in terms of attracting thrillseekers AND families alike....

The one that was the most fun for me was the one at USF. Curious George rocks!

Dollywood also has one with the water stuff built in , but the Foam area was much too small.

Yes , I am also a foam ball factory enthusiast.

Anyone whose ever heard me rant knows how much noise I make about CF's low family attraction count. I am very, very happy with the choices made here. THIS is what you call making the most of a low cap ex budget. Who doesn't like hitting people with stuff?

Apparently the former Actual Factual Museum will remain standing...but I wonder if they'll revamp or remove the exhibits? Without them, the space has so many possibilities. It could be a kid-themed sit-down restaurant, an indoor theater or both.

And what will the new shows consist of? They intend to still offer kid's entertainment, only without any licensed characters as far as I can tell. I almost trust Live E since the MacKenzie era--so if not a smash success it will at least be a bold endeavor.

great addition to the park . more family oriented attractions are where its at. it looks really nice and its a great way to build the inferstructure of the park.

I hope they put something like this into Cedar Point eventually, or update their Snoopy playground thing with it.

They should build a Tobacco Row instead. ;)
I wonder where the other half of the cap ex budget will show up? Total budget per the newsletter is $2.6 million.

Of course the other $1.3 million will go to infrastructure and improvements...one rumor was the expansion of the picnic area behind the IMAX screen. Well, we'll see.

Can adults play in the thing where you bash each other with foam stuff? I would lie to take some exboyfriends in there and get them back. HAHA!
