I'm not really sure how many of these I'll actually do seeing as I'm at the park every day, but we'll see if anyone cares or if I can maintain an interest in doing a "trip" report each day.
Today attendance was extremely low and everything was a walk on. Temperatures dipped 20 degrees colder then they have been the last couple of weeks and a steady onslaught of rains seemed to keep the bulk of people out of the park.
All in all despite the cold weather and the sheer crappy conditions for an amusement park to run in most everything was up for most of the day except for Looping Starship, Mad Mouse, and Ferris Wheel. There might have been one more ride that I'm missing, but considering the degree of crapiness that the weather seemed to have I was suprised it wasn't more.
Excalibur was running pretty fierce today, but I only got my one ride in the front right seat this morning as I pulled an O-C. See ya at Ex!

You mean to tell me they didn't shut the park down early? Like they did a few Fridays back?
Man, that's crazy....especially since the weather actually cleared up the Friday they closed. Somebody needs to keep an eye on weather radars.
Since most fronts in our area travel from west to east, checking airport radars and AWOS reports to the west of us should be rather insightful.

The CPlaya 100--6 days, 9 parks, 47 coasters, 2037 miles and a winner.....LoCoSuMo.
Believe it or not they're constantly checking the radar, the reason the park closed a couple of Fridays ago really probably had more to do with the fact that there was less then 100 people in the park when the announcement was made as compared to yesterday when we still had more then a thousand. Still a slow day, but I spose weather will do that to you.
BTW O-C is open to close.
