Valleyfair! 6/14/04

Associated parks:
None

I got to the park at around 1 ish with my best friend. Crowds looked about normal for this time of year, the parking lot was only about half way full.

As soon as we got through the gate we headed over to Steel Venom. My friend, Matt, is'nt a roller coaster buff like I am, but enjoys them. After about a 10 min. wait we got on. Always better in the back of the train if you ask me. After SV we made are way over to PowerTower. Then on to Wild Thing. They started the KDWB Wild Thing Survivor thing that day, so that took up one of the trains. Got one ride on that and then went to meet my other friends at the front gate. It was about 230 now so we went to go get something to eat. 2 dollars for one small piece of chicken, thats crazy.

My other friends wanted to go on Steel Venom again, so I was happy about that. Got on SV 7 more times through out the day. Then they went on Chaos. I reeeeaalllly hate this ride. Not to mention it killed like 8 people at another park. After them going on it twice we went to the back of the park with pit stops at PowerTower and Wild Thing. We noticed that Wild Thing was stuck on the lift. We got in line but then quickly exited the line after being informed that they would do 20 minutes of test runs after they got it working. Went on the pirate ship, then to Exalibur.

Exalibur was rough as always, but was descent. My friends all wanted to go on Antique Autos for some odd reason, so they went on that while I went on the closest roller coaster that I could find, Corkscrew. What a piece of crap. Then I forced my friends into trying out the new Rockin' Tug. It was actually pretty good. Since it was right next to High Roller, we went on it. I have never been a fan of this wooden coaster, but it surprised me with the really good airtime it gave on the first hill and the bunny hops. It was about 830 at this point and we decided to go do one more lap on SV, WT, and PT before leaving. All in all, a pretty good day.

Sounds like you a great time. We have yet to get up to VF this season, but we have already been to CS:MOA twice this year. :) Hopefully before the summer is over we can make our annual pilgrimage up to VF.

Great TR

Why didn't you mention PT leans to the left now?

What?

Short of a shocking new development like that, what's the difference between this and the last couple reports? Really? You got on coasters and got back off. So? People do that all the time and don't submit TRs.

Now for something actually interesting....

14 of the 36 KDWB Survive it and Drive it contestants are still aboard Wild Thing. Of that number only two are men. Imagine that!

Say, How about you post something constructive or don't post at all? Was there a notice on my TR that said- COASTAPLAYA, PLEASE, PLEASE READ MY TRIP REPORT! No, I didn't think so. So next time I post a Trip Report can you please not respond to it just because you have nothing else better to do with your time. Oh, and I believe Swoosh enjoyed reading my TR, and he also had something positive to say, imagine that!

To sum things up, don't read my trip reports, and don't post in my trip reports coastaplaya. I've had enough of your smart @$$ comments. So please, next time, keep them to your self.

Oh, come on- get some tougher skin, Steel Venom07. Life's tough, get a helmet. (That instantly popped to mind.)

You've been to Valleyfair six times already in 2004. You've ridden one roller coaster seventy times already. There is nothing remarkable about this trip report. The writing is at the level of my second grade brother writing about his vacation. Coasterplaya was just expressing his right to his own opinion. It was actually funny. Maybe you guys should work something out. :) (Sarcasm)

You should thank me for making you interesting for half a second.

Personally, I'd rather make a couple memorable posts than 20 that go Bluh bluh bluh. When you do that, people stop reading what you write and post-nukings are soon to follow.

And just so you know...that tall, cool glass of Shut the Heck Up came from a keg. Seconds are on the house.

What so are you saying that I can't write trip reports to my home park anymore? I've written 3 trip reports in the last two months and apparently you guys (coastaplaya) like to bomb them all, even though I have said nothing to offend any of you in any way. I mean come on, theres a Cedar Point TR written every week, especially in the first couple of weeks of the season.

And Coastaplaya, you started the whole " bluh bluh bluh" crap by putting a stupid comment in here that contributed nothing to this thread, so don't blame it on me that you had to post 'bluh' on here, not that any of your posts are actually worth reading anyways. Is it a tradition around here to give crap to the new guy or are you just a jerk, wait actually I think I can work that one out by myself. I'm pretty sure that this site is not about posting stupid and irrelivent coments, so how about you stop?

Wow, this is getting fun now. Thanks Playa.
This post is hillarious.

But in a more serious sense. Your posts really are boring Steel. Please fix them =(

Oh look more jerks on this site, imagine that!

Not suprising since only women listen to that crap station. When they have had some decent on-air talent they screw them over and get rid of them. I mean how hard is it to program 2 hours of music and hit the shuffle button. *** Edited 6/16/2004 3:02:28 AM UTC by Timo***

Steel Venom, if I were you, I would quit now while you have even a shred of credibility left on this site... If Captain Obvious cannot even help you...

Certain victory.

...while you're ahead...

Wait.

Mmmk. I don't have time to edit so I'll leave it at that. Mob mentality is one thing, this is something else. Trust me.

By the way, we are not trying to be rude, giving one a hard time is more like it, and I guess I did have time to edit. And sorry for the interesting use of punctuation. *** Edited 6/16/2004 4:43:35 AM UTC by coasterMNguy...***

Okay, you win. I'll stop.

Meanwhile, let's check the rave reviews of this TR shall we?

coasterwiz - nothing remarkable, second-grade level

DragonRider - Fun...now that 'Playa showed up

Pop'n Halicali - Boring

Timo - Ignores you entirely to talk to me

Kick The Sky - Please quit now

CoasterMNguy - Tries to tell you nicely

Swoosh - Calls it 'great' while giggling cuz he knows what's coming next

How many hints does it take? If your TR was a Broadway show, the audience would be setting the theater on fire. Dontcha get it?

If you're not givin' them what they want, I guess it's up to me...

Yeah, is this TR a repost? I could've sworn I've seen the same thing at least a few times.

PS, about the chicken, that is why they offer handstamps, go to Culvers or McDonalds down by Canterbery, the food is MUCH cheaper, and MUCH better.

Ooh ooh, can we have front row seats for the pimp slap Coasta is going to deliver? Bidding for front row starts at a dollar, do I hear 2 dollars?

Hehehe

Skol Vikings
Let's shoot us some deer Joe Joe!!!!

^I'll take it for 2 dollars ;)

Oh; here are a couple of TR's I've digged up. He states the same things in every one.

http://coasterbuzz.com/forum.aspx?mode=thread&TopicID=38256- This one is pretty boring.

http://coasterbuzz.com/forum.aspx?mode=thread&TopicID=38071- The posts after are pretty funny; it got closed, which is the fate of this one, too.

http://coasterbuzz.com/forum.aspx?mode=thread&TopicID=37949- Boring

EDIT: Forgot one :) *** Edited 6/16/2004 1:39:36 PM UTC by coasterwiz***

Come on coasterwiz, we all knew about these old reports already. Let's stop piling on the poor guy. I mean, a few really boring posts is not that big a crime. I anxiously await the next one at this point.
