Valleyfair 07???

Well... some people i have been talking to say that they have talked to employees at the park, and the employees say that Valleyfair is getting a new coaster in 2007 and it WOULD NOT be wooden. Any confirmations about this???

There have been many rumors of the 07 Beemer for VF but of course there is no confirmation.

Well... if two employees said it was true... what... do expect them to lie? I hope it's a beemer too. That'd be awesome!

Employees don't know. They just regurgitate the same rumors we do.

Well that's not always entirely true. I have had situations where employees have given me DEAD ON information about a future project. It's never the ride ops though (big misconception there). Believe or not, 'retail supervisors' are more likely to have early knowledge of an upcoming project. Of course they shouldn't be blabbing the info before the park makes the announcement, but if you happen to be good friends with one. ;)

On the other hand of course, I've also been given bad information as well, so you learn to take everything with a grain a salt. I certainly wouldn't start a thread about it...;) *** Edited 6/7/2006 1:12:29 AM UTC by DWeaver***

I bet it's another Talon-esque invert that will be slightly taller than Patriot just so they can market it.

hopefully it'll be a beemer but not a talon clone. maybe a custom layout invert. thatd be sweet.

I want a B&M inverted coaster badly (My favorite class of coaster)

I think if they do get a coaster it will be a B&M inverter since every CF park has one besides Michigan's Adventure.

Valleyfair already has a inverted shuttle. IMHO a floorless would be more unique and marketable.

But they already have a looper too. ;)

Steel Venom is the inverted (for now) albiet a LIM shuttle. Valleyfair! needs to expand on having more loopers than just the Corkscrew.

A floorless version the size of WOF's Patriot or SFGA's Gerogia Schorcher might be what the doctor ordered. Or if it is an inverted, something the likes of Great Bear...flying over Thunder Canyon.

I am a newbie but VF is my home park and this is important to me.

We have the usual:

Tilter, Octopus, Trabant, Enterprise, Chaos, Catapiller, Scrambler. Most have been there since the park opened. I know I've missed some things but hey, this is a site about coasters.

Last year's installment was a Huss I think...for the life of me...the kind that summersalts riders into jets of water.

This year is an S&S air swing (Xtreme Swing) a slightly shorter one than what CP just put in.

I don't want to propegate rumors, I'm just fanasizing for now.
