I recently went to SFMW. I went straight to V2. The wait was like 3 minutes! I go near the very back. Let me tell you, as soon as you launch to 70 mph it gives you the best feeling of any ride. You keep the same feeling throughout the whole ride. It also packs loads of airtime at the peaks of both towers. This ride travels very fast. I saw It will never be boring. What are your thoughts about V2 or S:UE?

I had the same experience with V2 at SFMW. The wait was never over 5 minutes all day, while Roar had like an hour wait.
As for the ride, I love it! The brake on the straight spike wasn't working but I think I like it better that way.

My experience is the same. Is SFMW's vertical tower's lims fixed yet? I heard that they wouldn't hold the train. If they arn't fixed yet, you don't know what your missing!

Trbiggar: I just rode the ride tuesday and was absoulty blown away! I rode in the front seat for like a 6 train wait! The anticiaption looking down at the lows of LIM's was awesome and so was the ride! It was better than Medusa! The last Spiral felt like were gonna just spin right off the track!, No, the back brake is not working which it too bad! I don't see how it would be so scary if your just stopped for a second! I also rode in the Middle and that was just as good becuase your get more of the back spike, even though the intiatal launch isn't anything, when you pick up speed through the station and get to 70 MPH, just sheer awesomeness!

When I went, the LIM weren't working. When I went on V2 at SFGAm, and with the LIM holding the train, I was "blown" away. The hold of the train was freakin' awesome. The lanuch seemed faster then the one at SFMW, but they are the same.

At the preview and at least a week or two after the coaster was running, the brake at the back was working and was awesome! It more than likely won't be fixed until at least September from what I hear. Either that or not until next year. As for the ride itself, it's still a great ride, my new favorite steel coaster, bumping Medusa at SFMW off the #1 spot. Should've waited for V2 to arrive before I got married. ;) Anyways, it's an awesome ride even without the brake, but it is better with it imo. Can't wait for it to be running again. I have yet to have a bad ride on that coaster, no matter where I sit. I prefer the back for the "floater" airtime, but the front gives a kickin ride as well. :)

Somehow, I think V2 at SFGAm is better than SUE. Even though they're apparently the same specs. Anyone agree?

I would have to say that V2 at SFGAm is an awesome ride, but I haven't been on S:UE. I would have to agree with you on that one.

I've only been on the V2 at SFGAm, but my suggestion is ride in the very back. Being held for that second at the top of the tower is just amazing. I had my harness very loose and it felt like I was going to fall out of the thing!

V2 is awesome! I've been on both versions, and they rock! The back is sweet. Going backwards up that tower is pretty cool, especially when it holds you there for a second. A must-ride for anyone.

V2 was an amazing rush when I rode it back row. Being held up that high in the air looking straight down was definitely the best part of the ride. An A+ experience.

V2 joined my top 3 rides with Raging Bull and Millenium Force as soon as I rode it. That ride is awesome. I can't imagine it being as great without that back brake thats one of my favorite parts of the ride in the back seat!

The first time I rode V2 (SFGAm), I was blown away. I rode it late at night, the park was nearly pitch black except for the rides and V2's towers which were very eerily lit. As we spun up that first spike, all around me I could only here the terrified people screaming explicits. It was a blast. Great ride, great ride.

I went to SFMW and the first time and I was in the middle and it was good but not great compared to what was coming next. We went on again late at at night and we were the last train and on the second time up the spiarl I felt like we were going to fly off the track.
