V2 or Deja Vu @ SFGA - CoasterBuzz

What new ride do you think will be better and why? I perosanally think it will be V2 because it will be open WAY before Deja Vu, and Deja Vu isn't that high. Also, Deja Vu's trains look retarded, and V2 looks so cool.What are other people's opinions?

I couldn't see the trains in Georgia and haven't looked at pictures of them yet (please no pink!), but I thought it completely looked like the most attractive piece of coaster I've looked at so far, looks nice. I couldn't make out any kind of station or queing, though. There used to be a nice dog kennel there, right?

I think that V2 is goign to be better cause its higher faster and its yellow. Alos some news paper in chicago said that V2 is going to be beter. Also most coaster that are build first they seem to be better. So who know. Oh yeah how big and how many genereators are there for V2? Does any one know how fast the LIM's can go? Just want to know

Well I'm sure LIM's can be set to just about any speed, but Superman at SFMM uses LIM's to reach 100 mph. So I guess that's the fastest we have seen so far.

I would have to say V2 for me. Just because I have never been on a launched coaster as of yet. (I know!) and it just looks more "intense". I can't wait until I get on it!

I think V2 all the way. Ive been waiting for it forever, and I was one of the first on it, it was soo fun. Deja vu looks cool, but doesnt top how V2 just shoots you out. And I kinda think Deja Vus start is stupid, why couldnt it just shoot you out.

Deja Vu and V2 are the same height (178ft) at SFGAm. I think it's 196 for Deja at SFMM. The LIMs go 70 I think. I didn't see the generators.

I'm alone so far but I think Deja Vu will be the better coaster. There are many shuttle type lim launched coasters out there but there aren't many coasters like Deja Vu. Dropping Vertical from 180 or so feet the going through three humongus inversions back 180 feet in the air and then repeating the whole thing backwards. V2 just goes back and forth and is a decent coaster, IMO, but nothing like what I expect Deja Vu to be.

inverted_one - I agree with you. Deja Vu will be the better of the two. I only really like SUE when sitting in the front. I do think that I will like V2 better than SUE, but Deja Vu is the star. I see Deja Vu being the more popular coaster because of what it offers riders.

Both are great additions to the park, but Deja Vu is my choice.
