V2: Has it even tested?

I'll be making a trip to Nocal this July 1-6, and I keep checking for any info on V2. Although everyone says it is supposed to open in june, I dont think it has even tested. Anyone have any feedback?

Yes, V2 haas been testing, there is still no opening date as of yet but the coaster has been testing for the past few weeks. Six Flags Marine Wolrd will not give a date yet for some reason. I dont know if that is because they havent installed the retractable floor yet or what but im hoping its soon.
Go to www.sfmwonline.com and read the latest headline about the opening, and the so called retractable floor which they are not putting in instead they are putting a rubber floor which is a few inches taller than the original floor(it's all in the update)

Will the rubber floor bounce?

Magnum, that would be funny. I wonder if they will do this at Great America for 2003. I am not sure it is needed, it only makes it a little more convenient. As it is, you have to be pretty short to struggle to jump into the seats. It is easy for me to get in, but I can see how a shorter, older person could have trouble. On the other hand, I hope the don't change the floors, because it is pretty funny watching people jump and not make it into the seat. One time, this lady couldn't get in, and her friend jammed her in there, it must have hurt. Back on topic, I think V2 should be open in a little more than a month, if it has already started testing.

I was there tonight and watched it test. It is going to be very cool despite what I hear! I talked to like 20 different ride-ops and they either didn't know when it would open, but most of them said Friday. One ride-op even claimed he got to work on it opening day if it didn't break down (he didn't seem confident but more proud).

It was so cool though to be on Roar and have V2 rummble the ground below us..... breathtaking!

I hope it opens Friday, and many people thought it would, but I'm not sure if they were telling the truth. As for the floor, it was finnished today. Thats all I know!
