V2 at SFGRam - CoasterBuzz

I was at SFGRam this saturday watching them test V2. A park security officer nearby said that V2 was supposed be open by now but when they ran the LIM's at full power, it dimmed the park lights. They had to install a generator just for V2. They hope to open it this wednesday.

I read it is opening Memorial Day weekend with a press confrence. It's only what I read, but I read it in some newspaper, so I doubt it's wrong unless something goes wrong with the ride and it is set back a month or months or years. Oh, BTW, it's SFGAm, not SFGRam.

la la la la la so i guess those comericals did mean something. well they have been running the V2 commericals non stop lately i hear one at least every hour radio tv all the time

Same thing happens to me at my old house. You would use a hair dryer, and the lights would dim! How Cool!

Ok. The first post in the thread, about installing a generator. LIMs require thier own generator anyways, don't they? I thought they wouldn't be able to dim the lights because they are on thier own electrical system. Was I wrong, or maybe only partially right? Now I think maybe they had a power generator for it, and if it needed it could draw power from the main electrical system. Does anyone know which is right?

People, v2 is having it's media day on May 24th! It is EXTREMELY unlikely that it will open before then.

V2 Probably won't open untill Deja vu does because otherwise they would need two media days and that would cost the park more $$$. I heard that they both will be ready this weekend!!!

v2 wasn't done last week and construction on DejaVu's station didn't even start. I could see v2 being done, but not DejaVu. If they both open, it will be the biggest miracle in the history of miracles.

For a person who rails one someone for spelling, it looks like you need a trip to spelling camp. You misspelled thier. The proper spelling of the word you intended to use should be their.

V2 is open!!!! Someone in my science class called SFGAm yesterday and asked if it would be open.

V2 is _not_ open. I just left the park a few hours ago. It's not open.
