Some new things in the Demo just to name a few...

1.You can now place the peeps in the water and watch them swim.

2.Also said they tried to fix the water glitches if not they gave some sites to either get Direct X,also how to get Video Card updayes.

3.Also you can make the peeps pyranoid by looking over there shoulder.

Ok I think the is the final Demo version at least Atari says it is before the big release next Wednesday...Enjoy!!

Well, if this represents the final release... it seems to be OK.. although there are some minor glitches they never fixed (like peeps mysteriously disappearing & reappearing during the on-ride view of the Ranger... er.. inverted ship).

I like popping the balloons & pissing off the peeps. It shows you that they got a little more personality. It's too bad they dont have an audio reaction, as the animation is amusing, but it'd be a nice added touch if they said something too. I also like tickling them, but it doesn't matter where you tickle the peeps, they react the same (er... not that I tried to tickle them anywhere else except their chest).

The paths STILL have issues, and that's a disappointment. It's especially noticable in the demo level where the elevation is different throughout and you try to line it up perfectly and it just will refuse to connect. That really gets annoying even after you play with the land.

Glad to see it's only a week until the final release, at least!

it was released the same day as 1.1?

Kyle Says: Diamondback was a lot of fun! Made his first time at Kings Island worth it all!

Now, I have a question to those who have played 1.2, I found 2 major glitches in 1.1 that i don't know if they've been fixed, if you swing the camera on top of the trees they go crazy swinging every witch way. The other is the coaster cam if you zoom out and swing around the guests seem to blend into the rides, all you can see is their feet. Have any of these been fixed?
I've had an odd experience with demo versions 1.1 and 1.2; what's even wierder is that this didn't happen with the original version of the demo. My problem is that most of the time it is simply too dark, as if a dark filter has been placed over the gameplay window (and only it; the controls, for instance, are at normal brightness). I'm fairly certain this has nothing to do with the brightness control, either, as it does show at normal brightness sometimes. In addition, sometimes only half of the screen will be too dark.

I have a laptop with a 1.6 GHz Intel Pentium 4 Mobile processor, 512 MB of RAM, and an ATI Mobility M7 "Display adapter" (it isn't possible to upgrade this, is it?). Has anyone else experienced this?
Edit: I updated my driver, and that seems to have eliminated the problem. *** Edited 11/17/2004 6:15:40 PM UTC by Hypercoaster Rider***
