US/IOA/WDW Machines

I've been under the impression that the machine locations list maintained at www.ddrfreak.com isn't actually *maintained* and that it's out of date and inaccurate.

So, where can we find machines in the six major parks? I'm particularly interested in playing a Disney Mix arcade machine for a bit, if such things exist.

Any suggestions?

Wait, you're going to IOA? ;)

The DDR Freak list was 100% on for me last November. As of then, I confirm the USA and Max2 machines in the Fantastic Four arcade, the Disney in the Space Mountain exit gift shop and the USA mix in the Pizza Planet arcade at Dis-MGM.

DELETED! What time does the water show start?

I think the ddrfreak.com locations list is *quite* accurate. The newest machine in my town was up on the board the day after it appeared, and it always seems to know the updates before I do.

A day is a drop of water in the ocean of eternity. A week is seven drops.

IOA: They have DDR Extreme as well as DDR USA in the Fantastic Four arcade, as Jeff said, as you exit Dr. Doom's Fearfall.

Citywalk: Two *immaculate* DDR Extreme machines are located in the Motown Cafe's arcade.

Universal Studios: Their machine was removed and placed in an "employees only" area.

Disney's Animal Kingdom: No DDR at all.

EPCOT: Two soft pads in Future World...free play.

The Magic Kingdom: There is a Disney's Rave machine in the arcade located at the exit of Space Mountain in Tomorrowland.

Disney Studios: There is a DDR USA machine located in the Pizza Planet Arcade, as Jeff said.

Sea World Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa both have DDR Extreme machines. BGT's is in very good condition, although the arcade is HOT. Sea World's on the other hand, is...well, not. Dania Beach has four machines, XS Orlando on I-Drive has two great machines as well.

Have fun and be sure to drink lots of water/powerade/gatorade. It's HOT down here! =P

Yeah, y'know . . .we may stop by for a day or three. Or six; if my family has its way.

Maybe I was just hoping the DDR Freak list was inaccurate then, as I seem to recall people describing more machines and more varied mixes. Oh well. Thanks :)

They put machines in Motown? Thank God... I was so disappointed not to find any in City Walk, and Motown happened to be the first place we looked (and ate).

DDRFreak also lists a DDR Extreme machine in the AMC Multiplex at Downtown Disney. Is it still there, and more importantly, can you play without buying a ticket to a movie? That's right near our hotel.

I can confirm the Disney Mix machine at Space Mountain as of March. Had a ton of fun playing it too!!! It is the Japanese version so if you are used to the songs on the American home version, they wont all be there.

Oops! I forgot about the DDR Extreme at AMC. Well let me tell you why I forgot about it. It's because it SUCKS! The volume is turned down so low it's barely audible and damn near inaudible if anyone else is playing another game, and the pad is in VERY poor shape as well.

Some ticket takers are cool about letting you in to play a game or so without buying a movie ticket, but you will have to let them hold something as compensation or whatever its called. But some won't. And honestly, that machine isn't worth the hassle. Best bet from there would be going over to Disneyquest and playing their 1st Mix...

Two more I forgot about in Orlando! Fashion Square One Mall (not *too* far from IOA...off of I-4/Colonial Drive) has two great machines in their arcade...I believe called Tilt and Vans Skate Park waaaay at the end of I-Drive, past Fun Spot and such also has a machine. I'm not up to date on the latest mix...I know it's changed recently. And Magical Midway removed theirs AFAIK...
Dont forget all the great Bemani at XS, Pointe Orlando on I-Drive!
