US theme parks consider local culture overseas

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

According to the Associated Press, American theme park operators like Disney and Universal Studios have adapted many American themes and designs to better suit the culture and customs of the countries they build in.

Read the feature from AP via the Lansing State Journal.

Good idea....
Front Page of The Temecula Edition of The Press Enterprise Business section today shows a picture of JP the ride in Osaka and Jumpin' Jellyfish at Disney Sea with the story.

I'll scan the pix if anyone wants to see them.

Feng Shui in Disneyworld? Now that's an idea i never thought i'd hear. =). It sounds fascinating though, and Disney is the master of "illusion," or making you feel like you're really in a Fantasy-type world (the music in the rocks at Adventureland still amaze me). Could anyone who's into Feng Shui give some examples of common principles? Thanks.
