US developers announce plans for Cairo theme park

Two companies with Disney ties have announced plans to build a large theme park near the Cairo International Airport. The venture includes Denver-based Avatar Management LLC and Sudbury, MA-based Apogee Attractions Inc. The venture said in a statement that it plans to build a Disney-esque entertainment complex on 1,500 acres.
